With a gusto that stands up to chilly days, this is the perfect red for San Francisco’s foggy summer. Fermented in concrete (no oak!), its flavor is still defined by the fruit.

Good acid up front, notes of dark cherry, plum, and black currant, and a dry finish with a nice touch of tannin. It’s just big enough that you don’t need to chill and would be really nice alongside a freshly-grilled tri-tip with all the trimmings.
